Male mental health nurse

As clear with the title of my story, I am a mental health nurse which makes me even more proud to be telling my story as a male with bulimia and a mental health nurse too. Since my early teenage years bulimia attacked my life consistently for 7 progressive years. Even during my time as student mental health nurse my eating disorder affected me in so many ways that I didn’t even know it could. It’s crazy to look back knowing how I was and the way I am now and to see the progression makes me proud to be who I am today. The strength is immense. No rainy day lasts forever. No matter how sunny or rainy a day is for us all, there is something more beautiful out there, a rainbow.
