Q. Who are you?

A. I am Soteria Gibbs and I AM RELIGION.  I am 12 and attend Nichols Jr High.

Q. Share one way in which you live out who you are everyday?

A. The way I love out who I am is by being sociable, funny and bubbly.

Q. What is your goal for this academic school year?

A. My goal this this is to make straight A's the entire school year.

Q. What personal challenges have you had to overcome within the last 12 to 24 months?  And how were you able to overcome them.

A. I had to overcome the death of my uncle.  Time helped me overcome the death.

Q. Do you feel that it is easy or difficult to be a girl in this culture?

A. Yes, because nowadays more girls are getting raped and it's not safe.

Q. If you had to deliver the United Girls Around the World Address, share one thing you would say to girls around the world?

A. I would say protect your body and your self.

Q. If you could give one piece of advice to parents of youth, what would it be?

A. Protect their kids and teach them well on how to protect themselves.

Q. Ten years from now, where will you be and what will you be doing?

A. I will be in college at Prairie View in Houston, TX and I will be an Orthodontist.

Q. Share one of your favorite quotes, poem, or phrases.

A. Love.  It's just chilling you know?  Kicking it with somebody, talking, making mad stupid jokes and like, not even wanting to to go sleep. Cause then you be without em for two minutes and you don't want that.

Q. In closing, share one thing about yourself that people would find funny, exciting or surprising about you?

A. That I laugh at the worst moments and I talk about random stuff.
