Every BODY is Deadly

Anybody, from any mob, can have eating or body concerns. Watch the videos below to hear two mob talking it out.

Eating or body image concerns can weaken your mind, body and spirit.

It’s not about your body size – and it’s different for different people.

But reaching out to talk it out with friends, family or our free Helpline can help – we’re here to listen in a confidential safe space, and our qualified counsellors have ongoing cultural competence training.

We’re here from 8am to midnight (Sydney time), seven days a week. Contact us for a yarn, for information or to find a doctor, counsellor or someone else who understands.

‘Cause #EveryBODYisDeadly and there’s no shame in talking it out.

The EveryBODY is Deadly video series

We talked to two people about their experiences with eating and body image concerns. From their highs and lows, to the ways they are rising above, we learned that yarning can help.

About EveryBODY is Deadly

EveryBODY is Deadly was created in consultation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with lived experience, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers.

We also worked with First Nations-owned communications agency, 33Creative, so we could help create a culturally safe space.
