Share your story

The Butterfly Foundation is proud to offer Your Stories – a page for those who wish to share their lived experience of an eating disorder with others in the community.

Your Stories contains stories of people from all walks of life and although unique, provides an opportunity to connect to people with a similar experience, letting them know they are not alone.

At Butterfly, we are committed to embracing diversity and we welcome stories from all people irrespective of body shape, ethnicity, lifestyle choice, faith, sexual orientation and gender identity.

We acknowledge the courage it takes to share your stories with others and thank you for your willingness to do so.

“When we deny the story, it defines us. When we own the story, we can write a brave new ending” -Brené Brown.
